Johor PAS information chief Firdaus Jaffar announced tonight that the party leadership will not issue any statements until the official results of the Johor state election are announced. He apologised to media personnel who had gathered at Perikatan Nasional's election operations room at PAS Simpang Jeram.

Firdaus said all parties are requested to wait until the full and official results are released. Official results are expected later tonight, pending confirmation by the Election Commission.
In the 2022 Johor election, Barisan Nasional won 40 of 56 seats, Pakatan Harapan took 12, PN three and Muda one. Earlier tonight, BN declared victory after claiming to have won 40 seats in the 56-seat state assembly.

BN and Pakatan Harapan contested in all 56 seats, while PN contested 33, comprising Bersatu (16), PAS (11), MIPP (5) and Pejuang one.
